A Few Days Before the RAM Rally (anytime after Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 3:00 PM)

• Install the RAM Rally Tracker App on your primary tracker phone and log in.
• Install the RAM Rally Tracker App on your backup tracker phone and log in.

Note: Only one phone will serve as the Primary Tracker during the RAM Rally. Additional phones may be used as Backup Trackers in case the primary phone fails.

• If your desired primary tracker phone displays "(Backup)", select "Make Primary Tracker" from the app menu.
• If your backup tracker phone displays "(Primary)", it will automatically switch to "(Backup)" when within cell range during the rally. If unsure, you can always click "Make Primary Tracker" on the primary tracker phone again.
  
  
• "Choose Your Own Adventure" i.e. Start Planning Your Route
• Expect to encounter gates, detours and other obsticles along the way. Plan a backup route and/or backup waypoints.
• Navigation apps frequently fail, especially when out of cell range. Consider using multiplate navigation aids including printed documents.

App Check and Q & A Call (Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 7pm)

The Day of the RAM Rally (Saturday, May 03, 2025)

8:00 AM - 9:00 AM

• Completely close and reopen the RAM Rally Tracker App on both the primary and backup phones.
• Ensure the countdown clock is accurate.
• Verify the distance to the nearest marker changes as you move.

Note: The app starts tracking at 8 AM, one hour before the official start at 9 AM. Check your team's current location on the live map, if within cell range:

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure you're in cell range.
• On the primary tracker phone, click "Make Primary Tracker".
• Confirm that "Allow Tracking" is enabled on your phone.

9:00 AM (Official Start Time)

The app starts awarding points at exactly 9:00 AM. Check to ensure your first point is captured on both your primary and backup phones.

Note: From within the app you can view your team's current score and that of other teams on the live leaderboard, if within cell range:

Troubleshooting:

• Ensure you're in cell range.
• On the primary tracker phone, click "Make Primary Tracker".
• Confirm that "Allow Tracking" is enabled on your phone.

Important: Your official score is the score shown within the RAM Rally Tracker app on your phone .

1:30 PM - 2:00 PM

The app stops awarding points at exactly 2 PM. Important: The final waypoint, worth 5 points, becomes available for capture at 1:30 PM.

2:00 PM

Consider purchasing food and drinks at the Trailhead Tavern. This is a good opportunity to meet new riding buddies.
